Please fix!! What's the point of taking your dog to a fenced in area if they can get out through a broken fence.

If you call the parks department, you'll get the sob story about NO MONEY! They have already started with the East Shore Park looking like CRAP with the high grass. I think the "crazy" mower is back from a few years ago. The grass looks like CROP CIRCLES!

I went there this weekend and the grass is overgrown, trash all over, toy container broken, what a mess...What does it take to fix this?

Mmm...what does it take? Well, maybe a mayor who cares, a parks department who cares.............

It NEVER should have been put in this secluded area to begin with. When they had those planning meetings, many people wanted it in the wide open spaces of East Shore Park, but they put it where they wanted it. Ft. Hale is a known hangout at night and has been for decades. So, it's not surprising that the mess is there. It certainly isn't the dog owners that are wrecking the place.

I wouldn't hold my breath Anne for any changes happening soon.

This must be fixed. My dogs can bump into it and open it. I suggest placing a chain and a lock. No one should be entering that large gate for anything but mowing and park maintenance. Please help! This is the best park for my dogs and they need area to roam because I live in a condo with limited outdoor space.

WOW Anne! Good job. Only took EIGHT months to fix something that probably took them 5 minutes to fix! Let's hope it stays fixed!
