This would solve so many problems, and protect so many people willing to risk their health to walk their dogs (and so many, many people still not wearing masks from each other!). What a good idea. I too don’t dare go there anymore.

Would it be possible, legal, for Cambridge to require face coverings be it masks, bandanas, scarves, etc. for Fresh Pond path users during the emergency? I heard on the radio that the Town of Brookline is requiring face coverings for all outside activities.

Salem has now made going out mask-free a fineable offense. $50 for 1st offense, up to $300 for 3rd. This would transform my neighborhood, where 75% of the people never wear face masks! They're mostly under 50, and don't seem aware that masks are mainly to protect others.
