Just wanted to make clear, what I smelled in front of 195 Harvey Street was sewage, not the sulfur that is added to natural gas.

In House Cewer Maint crew cleaned and deodorized catch basin .

One of my neighbors just emailed me, "DPW was just checking one of the sewer manholes at the corner of Harvey and Clifton. They said it is backed up, but they think it's the sewer line that runs from the houses across the street from us . . . The guys who were checking it out didn't know when it would actually be fixed." Sounds like more work is planned. In any case I haven't noticed the sewerage odor lately either from catch basin cleaning and deodorizing and/or the cold weather. Many thanks for the follow-up.
